This term in extension we were learning and researching about our local area / Tamaki History. The history of our local area was quite big and would be forever to try and research all of it so we narrowed it down to things like cluture, myths and legends. We were put in groups of 3. My group Legacy and Finau, together we created a google slides and chose to research mostly about the myths and legends of our local area.
This week in literacy we are making animations useing google slides, I have done this before in my class for cybersmarts. My animation is about a goldfish who is swimming in the ocean and a big shark comes along and ask him for a race, the goldfish agress and they start. The little goldfish is far behide the shark but he doesn’t give up and starts going faster but out of nowhere the shark turns around and opens his mouth wide. The little fish was going to fast at the time so he was unable to stop in time to not get eaten. In the end the shark won and had a early lunch.
Mana ako is coming to a end for term 2 and now I am getting ready for the holidays.

I am looking forward to starting at a new school.

I think that I mostly try to avoid public speaking
-> What is something you don’t enjoy BUT is good for you?
Something I don’t enjoy to much is reading, but every teacher always tells me that reading is the MOST important subject.

Today in maori we asked the question kei hea koe? meaning where are you
Today in cybersmart, we were learning to create a google form. My question was, Mr Goodwin or Mr Moran? Here is the result and you can also answer yourself.
This weeks rotationsin maori we asked the qusetion E hia enai? Meaning how many is there then looked at some words for exsample we looked at the word eggs (Heki) and bowls (ipu) in maori and then numbers and answered some questions showing a photo of suff.
Today in the first block we did math. in room 4 we are learning to solve equation like 12 – r = ( r = 5 ). I hope you enjoy and feel free to leave a commet.
Today we learned about polygon. With our teacher we went through the slides and looked at the different kinds of polygon. We talked about how many sides and edges each shape has. We learnt about new shapes like the decagon wich has ten sides and the nonagon which has nine. We look at irregular and regular shapes looking that how that are differtent but are stil the same. I think the hardest thing in this task was trying to remember all the names for the shapes. I hope you enjoy these slides and feel free to leave a commet
Today we in extension we were assign to make a brain storm on a movie about the local history. Me, Legacy and Finau have decide to research and make a movie about the myths and legends of the local area. We decide to make the movie about the mthy of the two maori sisters Reipae and Reitu. The myth is about the two sister that are princess that named the two mountians, Mount Maungarei and Mount Maungatu.
